When was the last time you really felt loved & missed?

I feel loved by Don and Abby all the time.  I know Mom loves me.  I knew Ricki, John and Chris were glad to be back in OKC close to family. 

BUT I had NEVER had a welcome like Don and I got when we drove into our driveway on Friday night, arriving from Ruidoso. 

After 11 hrs of driving, I noticed when I drove in the gate of our neighborhood that our garage door was up. So I thought Ricki had forgotten to close it. But when I drove into the driveway Ricki, John and Chris were all out in the front yard waiting on us.  They came running up hugging, kissing and saying how much they were glad we were home. Don was behind me in the pickup and he came driving up, surprised also. 

Ricki had turned on the water, air conditioner and plugged in the refrigerator. Everything was ready for us to be home. They starting helping us unload the pickup and car. It only took a few minutes for everyone to get the two cars unloaded. It was a great help. 

Then we noticed these on the kitchen counter.

When Ricki called me last we were in El Reno eating at Braums.  She said later that she was so surprised we were that close that she had to get to work to get these cookies done.  They were HOT! out of the oven.  Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies!!!  YUMMMMM

We sat down, talked, hugged and they kept telling us how glad they were for us to be home.  And I felt truly truly loved and missed.  I was so glad to be home with them.  I am so glad they are in OKC, truly glad.  I am crying writing about this.  Thank you John and Ricki for moving back to OKC.

I was eager to go and see Mom & Ricki’s new house that they had moved into during the summer.  So after a few cookies later we drove the 1/2 mile to their house and where mother is in rehab. 

I talked to mother when I was about in El Reno also. She knew we were nearly home.  I was very glad to see her and she was all smiles.  I hate that she broke her hip but so glad that Ricki was here to help her and that she was able to go to rehab at Epworth close to Ricki. 

Things do seem to work out!!!!!   I love my Family!
