Ricki and I have be planning this weekend for 7 months and it is finally here, the 3Day 60 mile Susan G. Komen walk. We both flew into Dallas on Wednesday night and Kenna picked us up.
We had our bags packed to the hilt and all organized in ziplocks. We had planned, organized, packed and repacked until we were sick. Hoping that we didn't forget anything.
We got up late this morning and Kenna, Ricki and we all took turns in her massage chair. It was heaven. We then took a trial drive over to the area that the opening ceremony starts. We have to get up at 4:30 and be there by 6:30. Took our showers tonight so we would be ready to jump in our clothes and go.
I'm very anxious and excited because I'm not for sure what to expect, will I be able to do it, did I train enough. It is to the point it doesn't matter anymore we are just going to enjoy the experience, walk for all the ones that have gone through the struggle of breast cancer & be thankful we haven't had to go through that struggle yet. We will take lots of pictures and I will be posting them after I get home.
