We like the new roof and chimney a lot.  Now we have to get some of those dead trees cut down and the porch painted.  Maybe next summer.

Last Thursday we had a couple of cold fronts come through and it turned cooler.  Cool enough for me to want to make beef stew.  I invited Paula, Raymond, Jan and Sharon over for Beef Stew and a game of Hand and Foot.  Oh yes I also had six dogs!!!

We bundled up and ate and played cards on the back porch. IMG_4503IMG_4504

Wednesday night we had another pickleball party at Micheal  Dudman's. Good food and good friends.IMG_4481Don was the hit of the party with his cowboy hat!!

IMG_4470IMG_4473IMG_4489We had about 30 that attended. After labor day the summer people have started to head home and we have fewer at pickleball now.  IMG_4474IMG_4487IMG_4494IMG_4490Our host – Michael Dudman

  1. The new roof is clearly better than the old one! The house looks lovely too because of the red color and wooden texture of the walls. It's nice to know that you still enjoy the company of the summer people. And those dogs look like they enjoy your company too!
