Oklahoma City in the eyes of Abby

Last summer I did a post on “Ruidoso in the eyes of Abby”.  She wanted me to write a post on “Oklahoma City in the eyes of Abby” tonight and this was how it went.

I had dad take a picture of mom and me getting my leash on.  I really wish they would hurry because it has been a long time since I had my last pee.  (Those eyes are scary)

As I was heading out the door I looked up at the street sign & saw lots of blue sky today.

Looks like a lot of activity this evening down the street. It must be trash day tomorrow.

I’m going to head across the street to one of my favorite spots for a pee.  It’s the Garlow’s yard. I miss Dan he passed away about a month ago and he would always give me a nice back rub.

We have some trees along this stretch of sidewalk and my favorite fire hydrant.

I like to smell & pee on all the flowers, lamppost and trees.

Oh look, they filled up the pool!  It opens over Memorial week-end.

I like walking down the green belt area because I usually get to see several of my friends.

This is where that young pesky little female schnauzer, Paisley lives. I wonder where she is.

We’re going on down to one of my human friends.  This is Grant.  He always plays and pets me and this is where Paisley stays sometimes.

Grant and Kay, his wife, are working in their yard this evening.  Dad sat down to talk a while.  We usually stop here and visit.

Oh no! There she comes.  She has way too much energy but she is really cute.  I remember when I had that much energy.

She always wants to play. I wish my mom would get me a pretty pink harness like hers.  I think I’ll play with her tonight.  I slept quite a bit this afternoon.

Paisley started eating dirt so Grant got a hold of her. I prefer the green grass myself but mom won’t let me eat it.

Then Paisley had to go set in her mom’s (Julie) lap.

It’s time to move along and get my business done. Thanks dad for cleaning up after me.

I want to show you some other animals in my neighborhood in OKC.  We don’t have any bears but we have rabbits & frogs.

Smells like Truman has been by this mailbox. I don’t know how we missed him tonight but here is a good picture of my little friend.

I like to sniff the pansies and they are so pretty this spring.

I’d like for you to meet Izzy.  She looks so cute with her summer haircut.

I wish some of these houses would sell. We need some more dogs in this neighborhood.

OK we are making the turn towards home.

Wait what is that between those two houses. Ducks!!  Don’t they know this is a gated community? How did they get in here?

I can’t believe my neighbors put their trashcans right in my walkway.

Wait! Someone is barking at me.  It’s my next door neighbor, Rowdy.  He has that little man syndrome, lots of bark & aggression.  Kinda like me. I am getting better at that.  I’ve learned to pick my battles.

That was a really nice walk tonight.  I didn’t see everyone but I got to sniff quite a few butts. Thought I would show you some of our flowers in the front yard and our rabbit.

Oh look who came walking by the house. This is my dear old friend, Charlie.  We have been friends a very long time. He is lots bigger than me and he comes and visits me in Ruidoso during the summer.

Well, mom and dad are ready to go in for the evening and I am a little tired. Hope you enjoyed the tour.

We’re going to watch “The Thunder” beat “The Mavericks” I hope.
We lost the 1st Game. Gotta win the next.
